Check an interval plan before starting a timer
Use a short settings check to make sure a timer represents the interval plan you already chose. The check is about sequence and arithmetic, not whether that plan is appropriate training.

How to use this resource
- Write every duration with a unit. Convert minutes to seconds deliberately.
- Describe one full set in words, including whether rest follows its last repetition.
- Compare the expected duration with the calculator and the timer’s displayed sequence.
- Run a settings check before use and keep the device visible during HoldTempo timing.
The downloadable CSV matches the printed table. It has no formulas and is not an app-import file. Entered browser-tool data, when offered, has its own download button.
Avoid counting a gap twice
Some plans include a final repetition rest and a separate between-set gap. Others use only one of them. Write both explicitly, then check how your timer represents them. If a timer cannot express a chosen pattern, do not silently substitute another sequence.
An interruption is part of the record
Keep the original plan and record what actually happened separately. HoldTempo pauses when you leave the app and needs an explicit resume. A browser duration calculator does not run an active session or guarantee elapsed time in the background.
Save a usable session note
A useful note states the pattern name, completed repetitions or sets and any interruption. Do not rewrite the planned total as completed time when you stopped early. The worksheet and its CSV have no app-import or sync function.
iPhone
HoldTempo
HoldTempo lets you create your own intervals and keep a private session log on iPhone.
