Pool reading chart: plot your own observations
A line between two readings can make a change easier to notice, but it cannot explain the cause. Enter a few observations from one pool using the same unit and test method. The chart preserves the raw entries and leaves gaps in time visible.
Use the browser tool
Free, no account. Entries stay in this open page and are not uploaded by the tool. Reloading or closing loses them. Download any needed record before leaving. A blank printable worksheet is also available below.

An observation chart cannot assess whether a pool is safe or recommend chemical treatment.

How to use this resource
- Use one pool and one parameter for each chart. Give the unit and test method a clear label.
- Enter an unambiguous date and time, then a numeric observation. A missing test is not zero.
- Compare the table with the plotted points before saving. Enter a correction as a replacement only after checking the original record.
- Download your entered CSV before leaving. The browser tool keeps data only while this page stays open.
The downloadable CSV matches the printed table. It has no formulas and is not an app-import file. Entered browser-tool data, when offered, has its own download button.
What the line means
The horizontal position uses elapsed time, rather than giving every reading the same spacing. Two tests taken ten minutes apart therefore appear closer than tests a week apart. Connecting them is a visual aid; it does not mean the reading followed that exact path between tests.
Keep context with the chart
Do not mix free chlorine with total chlorine or combine different measurement conventions. Start a separate chart when the method changes. The tool supplies no normal band, chemical dose, safety score or prediction. Your raw data remains the primary record.

Pool FC Journal
Pool FC Journal keeps your pool observations and maintenance history on iPhone. The browser chart and downloaded CSV are independent resources.
