Bingo host procedure: pause, repeat and check a claim

Most caller confusion is about what the room heard and when drawing stopped. Agree a short procedure before the first number so a missed call and a claimed win do not require an improvised rule.

How to use this resource

  1. Tell players how to ask for a repeat or pause before play starts.
  2. On a pause, stop new draws and repeat the last recorded number.
  3. On a claim, compare the actual called numbers and the announced winning condition with the card.
  4. Announce the result and make sure players are ready before drawing again.

The downloadable CSV matches the printed table. It has no formulas and is not an app-import file. Entered browser-tool data, when offered, has its own download button.

A repeat is not a new draw

Read the latest number from the caller history. Do not press a draw control merely to repeat a spoken announcement. Keep the visual history available when optional sound is unavailable or a player did not hear it.

A card must match the chosen format

Use 75-ball cards for a 75-ball caller and 90-ball tickets for 90-ball. Announce the pattern or stages before drawing. This cue card does not determine valid card design, settle competing claims or choose your event’s rules.

Reset deliberately

Before a new game, finish checking any outstanding claim, retain the history if you need it and confirm everyone has cleared or replaced their cards. A reset should be announced to the room rather than performed silently.
