Aquarium temperature and volume converter
Use this small converter when two records describe temperature or volume in different units. It converts the number you enter; it does not recommend a temperature, tank size, water change or treatment.
Use the browser tool
Free, no account. Entries stay in this open page and are not uploaded by the tool. Reloading or closing loses them. Download any needed record before leaving. A blank printable worksheet is also available below.

How to use this resource
- Choose the exact conversion. A US liquid gallon and an imperial gallon are different units.
- Enter the measured value and read the displayed formula.
- Copy the original value and both unit labels beside any rounded conversion.
- Do not apply this converter to ammonia, nitrate, salinity or other chemical readings.
The downloadable CSV matches the printed table. It has no formulas and is not an app-import file. Entered browser-tool data, when offered, has its own download button.
Temperature arithmetic
Fahrenheit equals Celsius × 9/5 + 32. Celsius equals (Fahrenheit − 32) × 5/9. For example, 20 °C converts to 68 °F. That example illustrates the formula and is not a target for any animal.
Volume arithmetic
One US liquid gallon equals 3.785411784 litres. The tool labels US gallons explicitly and rounds the displayed answer; keep the original measured value. The entered tank volume is not a dose calculation or a recommendation to remove that amount of water.
