Before contacting support
- Finish or cancel any visible recovery prompt before repeating the action.
- Check that your device has available storage and that the relevant iOS permission is enabled.
- Close and reopen the app. Avoid deleting it until you have preserved any records you need.
App-specific guidance
- The interface supports 20 languages. Prayers are available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, Russian, Ukrainian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Turkish, Arabic and Hindi. Japanese prayers are not yet included.
- Choose the prayer language during setup or in Settings. Changing it preserves your saved prayer and bead. Changing the device language does not replace the prayer language you chose.
- Progress stays on this device. There is no cloud sync or backup/export feature. The app does not provide a way to transfer saved progress to another device.
- If stored data becomes unreadable, Retry leaves it in place. Start fresh resets the local reading state and preserves the unreadable files locally; Delete local data also removes those recovery copies.
- Report a reading or source concern with the app version, prayer language, exact screen and wording.
Your data
Delete local data in the app resets your saved position, preferences and completion count and removes preserved recovery files. If deletion reports an error, retry to remove what remains. Removing the app also removes its local container. Saved progress and recovery files are excluded from device backups. Copies of diagnostics you have shared must be deleted at their destination.
There is no Kovi Apps login or server-side app account. See the privacy policy for storage, permission, and sharing boundaries.
